AFRICAN REFORMATION PARTY SEEKS INEC REGISTRATION HAVING MET ALL CONSTITUTIONAL REQUIREMENTS ...Adams Tanko Reporting Live from Abuja, Nigeria. The African Reformation Party (ARP) has formally requested the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to register it as a political party in Nigeria. According to the party's leadership, ARP has met all constitutional requirements for registration. The ARP submitted its first intent letter to INEC in January 2021, and yet another intent sent on November 14 after the 2023 general elections. ARP National Chairman & INEC Commissioner The party's national chairman, Hon. Mutiu Olakunle Okunola, and legal consultant, Emmanuel O. Aliyu Esq., have been spearheading the registration process. Interestingly, ARP claims to have been the first to submit an official logo with a mace as its symbol.
