  INEC RECOGNIZES ABURE AS LABOUR PARTY CHAIRMAN AFTER LONG BATTLE WITH PARTY UNRECOGNIZED STOCKHOLDERS  The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has finally recognized Barrister Julius Abure as the National Chairman of the Labour Party, along with Alhaji Umar Farouk Ibrahim as the National Secretary.  This development comes after a long-standing legal battle and a recent court order compelling INEC to recognize the Abure-led leadership.
