Julius Abure has secured a major victory as the Federal High Court in Abuja has declared him the National Chairman of the Labour Party, ahead of the 2027 general elections.  This ruling validates the party's national convention held in Nnewi on March 27, 2024. ABUJA -  The Labour Party has disowned Ms. Oluchi Oparah, who has been parading herself as the party's National Women Leader. In a statement signed by the party's National Publicity Secretary, Obiora Ifoh, the Labour Party declared that Ms. Oparah was suspended indefinitely in November 2023 for anti-party activities.
