BAUCHI STATE SPEAKER CELEBRATES MAULUD WITH GOVERNOR, APPEALS FOR ADHERENCE TO PROPHETIC GUIDANCE

In a heartfelt message, the Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Abubakar Y Suleiman, extended warm felicitations to Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, the Emir of Bauchi, and the people of Bauchi State on the occasion of Eid-El Maulud. 

This significant celebration commemorates the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), a revered figure in Islam whose teachings have guided millions around the world.

Dr. Suleiman emphasized the importance of Maulud, noting that it serves as a reminder for Muslims to reflect on their actions, utterances, and relationships in accordance with the Prophet's teachings. 

He highlighted the virtues of kindness, selflessness, honesty, and trust, which are central to the Prophet's message. 

According to the Speaker, these values are essential for building a harmonious and progressive society.

The Speaker called on parents, leaders, and preachers to unite in promoting moral values and teaching the gospel of unity, righteousness, and service. 

He stressed that by working together, they can foster a more compassionate and responsible community. 

Dr. Suleiman also urged families to ensure their homes are secure during the celebrations and for parents to keep a close eye on their children, ensuring that the festivities are enjoyed in a safe and peaceful environment.

As the people of Bauchi State celebrate this auspicious occasion, Dr. Suleiman wished them a hitch-free Maulud celebration.
